
Power Your Body Through The Week With No Sugar Added Power Balls
This killer recipe powers your body through the rest of the week.
You can grab a couple of these on your way to (fill in the blank)_____ and know that they’re fueling you without adding any extra sugar to your morning!
No-Sugar-Added Power Balls
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup organic nut butter of choice (I’m partial to cashew and almond)
1/2 c gluten free organic oats
1/4 c unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 c or less dried fruit of choice, unsweetened (I love dried cherries!)
1/8 c sunflower seeds or pepitas, hulled
1/3 c cacao nibs
1/3 cup
1/2 tsp cinnamon (or more if you’re like me!)
1/4 tsp vanilla or 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
2 tbsp chia or hemp seeds
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of salt
Directions:
1. Roughly chop the dried fruit into tiny pieces
2. Combine cashews, nut butter, and oats in a high power blender or food processor until well combined and smooth. Stir or pulse in the rest.
3. Roll into bite sized balls
4. Put in a parchment lined Tupperware container and freeze for 30 minutes
